Querkus News - December 2001

Hello people who have shown some kind of interest in our crazy tunes.

First of all -- yes our 6 sonf EP is off the press and ready for you to listen to. You can't buy it off the internet yet but I'll let you knaow when you can. Our CD release is going to be january 10th at ms. purdys. I'll give you more details in a few weeks. You can hear the final versions of some of the songs at www.mp3.com/querkus. Please give me any feedback you can muster! I'd love to hear any ideas you have for us, and I'll answer any questions about anything you have if I know the answer.

Please tune into ckuw 95.9 fm in Winnipeg at 2pm to hear Karen and Edgar on Stylus Radio. Call into the show at 774-6877 or email at stylusradio@hotmail.com to ask us anything or request music. We're going to be talking about our CD (we never shut up about it -- at least I don't and my one track rants get irritating to most people I'm sure) and what we thought was some of the best new music of 2001. Please let the station know your picks too. Also, later on January 5th at 10 am we're going to play a short live set, talk, and play a bit off the CD on the Beer for Breakfast, also on 95.9 fm. The same phone number applies. You may be able to listen online, but I think the site - www.ckuw.org - is not working right now.
