Querkus News - January 2004
Hello my sweetlings, sorry for the delay, I have been waiting to write to you
so I could square away a few details that may or may not affect your lives.
Firstly, I hope you are all comming to Art's Birthday Party at Video Pool. We
will be be there most definatelly but I will not be there as Querkus, just
there as ourselves having a wildly irresponible time. Details for the evening
can be found at the end of this email.
Becides all that, Querkus WILL be playing in January -- Saturday, January 31st
to be exact. We will be at the Barca Club in Osbourne Village with The Absent
Sound. Cover will be $5 (doors open at 9, music starts around 10:30) and
there may be cool videos for your viewing pleasure while both bands are on...
still have some details to work out but, "its Querkus so it must be good". Be
there or be somewhere else less cool.
What else? Well Jaimz just finished his final cut of his short film "Liquid
Lunch" featuring myself as a Dominatrix with a sick sense of humor and Edgar as
a businessman who gets more than he bargined for. Now Edgar and I are going to
do music and a sound edit for it. I'm thinking it will be at the next Winnipeg
Film Group Primiere aT Cinematheque (sometime in April). Lots of music is
being written, lots of extravagant plans are being hatched.
Stay warm and hopefully I will see some of you on the 31st!!!!
